Psychometric Testing

Overview

A psychometric assessment is used to measures a person’s suitability for a role based on their intellectual capabilities and personality traits. Organizations that use psychometric assessments believe that giving candidates a standardized test can provide an objective assessment of who the most suitable candidates . Psychometric tests allow employers to objectively test candidates, not based on their background or prior experience, but by measuring their personality, aptitude and general intelligence. Similar to competency based interviews, there aren’t necessarily always right or wrong answers for most psychometric tests.
